WHAT IS THE CONSULTATION LIKE:
During a consultation with our Trichologist, we will carry out a full scalp mapping and scalp analysis. We aim to find the best solution for any scalp or hair-related issues no matter how big or small.
The consultation typically takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the complexity of the concerns.
Trichology is a holistic discipline, so the trichologist will be asking you a wide variety of questions on your medical and family history, hair care regimen, current medical status (are you currently being treated for any diagnosed conditions, etc), dietary and lifestyle practices.
The consultation also includes a manual and microscopic (using trichoscopy) investigation to help in the diagnosis of your condition(s).

The trichologist may recommend specific blood tests for you to help with the diagnosis. Once you have received the results, the trichologist will be able to analyze them and give you feedback in a follow-up consultation.
A prognosis and recommendations are made where appropriate.

WHAT IS A FOLLOW-UP CONSULTATION?
Follow-up consultations are arranged at the convenience and decision of the client. There is no pressure to book a follow-up consultation or any of the treatment options recommended.
Treatments can be started without the cost of a follow-up consultation as long as it is within 8 weeks of the initial first consultation.
WHAT IS THE PRE-CONSULTATION CHECKLIST:
If possible, we recommend you do the
following before your consultation:
•If you have had recent blood tests (in the past 6 months) please bring a copy with you.
•Wash your hair a day or two before your appointment, not on the day.
•Do not add any camouflage treatments to the hair before the consultation.
•Bring with you a list of the medication you are currently taking.
•Bring with you a list of the medications you have previously tried.
•Bring any current supplements you are taking.
HOW MUCH IS MY TREATMENT?
Going to the doctor to talk about hair loss treatment options is likely not something that you have done throughout your life. So, you may be a little unsure about what the potential costs may be.
